A Spiritual Journey

We are spiritual beings having a physical experience.

Spirituality is at our core, each of us is on our own spiritual journey.

We are born perfect and as life “happens” to us we sometimes become disillusioned. I liken this to a perfect diamond which gathers dust and dirt, concealing it’s true beauty. Once it’s been polished we are blinded by it’s beauty. So it is with each of us. Most of us have forgotten that this beauty is at our core.

As we near the end of 2012 changes are happening so very fast. The vibrations of the planet are getting higher and higher, there’s a shift, the earth is cleansing itself.

Some of us feel as though we’re spinning out of control. The answer to this is to step away and make space to be still and the answers will come from our heart. Use your heart to help others to find their heart, health and spirit. Dig deep, meditate, wait until you can see the answer, which has always been there but we have been too busy to listen.

In the best selling book “Stillness Speaks” Eckhart Tolle discusses this in depth. He addresses the needs of the seekers among us by drawing on spiritual traditions. Reading this book and his book “The Power of Now” changed by life. What he refers to as “the state of presence” and “living in the now” are at the core of his teachings. We need to remember that we are human “beings” not human “doings” and simply “be”. Stillness has immense power.

We need to listen to what our soul speaks when we are silent. In this silence we will find the answer to questions like who am I? Am I following my own agenda? The answer will come from our soul and our heart.

Once we understand which direction to take on our journey we must be clear about our vision otherwise we will fail, or at least, not be fulfilled.

Don’t be trying to please others, you don’t need brownie points and it will not to happiness. We must lear to trust ourselves, this process can take years to complete. Along the way we must be loving and compassionate to each other. We are all far more alike than we are different. We should embrace this oneness and help each other.
